The Berlin Researche Network on Depression is an alliance of university and non-university institutions in the greater Berlin area, including the University of Leipzig, dedicated to joint research into the clinical picture of depression. By networking clinical and preclinical research and patient care, innovative scientific findings can directly benefit patients. At the same time, clinical research can take up questions from patient care. The Berlin Scientific Network Depression thus takes advantage of the unique density of research and care structures in Berlin to address one of the greatest global disease challenges.
